NYSC Wins Most Innovative Service Provider Award
The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in Nigeria won the “Most Innovative Service Provider” award from the Nigeria Internet Registration Association, NIRA.
NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Ms. Yetunde Baderinwa, received the award on behalf of the NYSC Chief Executive.
At the 5th Annual .Ng Awards held in Lagos State, South West Nigeria, the President of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association, NIRA, Mr. Muhammad Rudman commended the various organizations that have proudly projected their businesses using the .ng brand over the years. .
The President has enjoined every Nigerian to register a .ng domain name and publicize Nigerian content.
Mr. Rudman also encouraged Nigerians to adopt the .ng domain.
The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) which is a self-regulatory body that manages the .ng country code top level domain (ccTLD).
This category recognizes excellence in business innovation, online user experience and commitment to the Nigerian Internet community while adopting sound business practices based on the level of local and original content promoted with the domain name.
Attending the event were Managing Director Nigeria Mining Cadasre Obadiah Simon Nkom, Nigerian Internet Governance Chairperson Ms. Mary Uduma Forum Board and Directors of NIRA and other dignitaries.
The other nominees in this category were: Sea Concept, Life Bank Nigeria, Hotel Booking limited and Landwey.
The other winners of the 2022 .ng awards are Wema Bank’s Best Electronic Payment Portal/Website. Best Print Media Website Guardian Nigeria, Best Local Hosting Company Smartweb limited, Best Ecommerce Website Jumia Nigeria, Digital Innovation in Federal Government of Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office, Digital Innovation in State Government Akwa Ibom Govt and host others.
The President of NIRA appreciated the winners as well as the nominees of the award.
